After delays due to strikes in Hollywood, the wait is all around Euphoria Season 3 will pick up steam with an encouraging new update.
Following its renewal in February 2022, some speculated that the Zendaya-led series would premiere on HBO sometime in 2024.
However, Euphoria Star Maude Apatow, who plays Lexi (aka Sydney Sweeney’s character Cassie’s sister) on the series, confirmed in February 2023 that filming would not begin until late 2023, but the start date was pushed back even further due to strikes.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3 Gets Encouraging Production Update

When will season 3 of Euphoria be released?

In February 2022 Euphoria became HBO’s second most popular series after Game of Thrones (via Variety) after averaging 16.3 million viewers during its second season.
Based on this update, it’s likely that Euphoria Season 3 will begin filming in early 2024, mainly because the writers need to finish scripts for the new season first.
Filming for the second season lasted seven months, with cameras rolling from April to November 2021. The second installment of the series then debuted on HBO in January 2022.
If Euphoria Production on season three will begin in May 2024 and will likely wrap around December 2024. This filming window will coincide with the previous report that Season 3 would premiere sometime in 2025, most likely around February of that year.
