Everything we know about the fourth (and final) season of Sex Education | Vanity Fair Italy

It’s time for the fourth season sex education which will be available on Netflixstarting next September 21st. But, as is often the case, good news comes with bad news, and even if we get a chance to see new episodes of one of our favorite shows, we have to give up the idea that they will be the last, because after this season the show will end.. This was announced a few days ago by the creators of the series, who through an Instagram post, explained that it was time to let go of all the characters Moordale High School. And, albeit with a little sadness, maybe this is the right decision, so as not to spoil the narrative quality of the product.

But what can we expect from these new episodes? First, a complete change of point of view, because after graduating from high school Otis, Eric and the others face college adventures and, above all, the opportunity to build a new identity with a new group of people and new friends. According to the first rumors, the activities of Otis and his “special” clinic will not stop, because it is the university environment that will stimulate him to continue this path. Eric, on the other hand, will finally try to be a popular boy, leaving behind all the disappointments and sorrows that have characterized his journey to Moordale. Maybe, the most interesting part will concern Maeve, who, as we remember, won a scholarship visit a prestigious Wallace University where she will have the opportunity to attend lectures by some of her favorite writers.

As much as we love the positive implications of the series’ protagonists’ high school careers, it certainly Our only question we’re trying to answer is: will Maeve and Otis get to see each other again? It is possible, as some have suggested, that the final episodes may have taken place in a more advanced time frame than the previous episodes, and therefore show Maeve’s return from the US and possibly a possible reconciliation with Otis. It is certain that some characters will be missing like Olivia Hanan, played by Simone Ashley, who is now completely absorbed in her character in Bridgerton; or Ola from Patricka Allison, who, like her colleague, decided to devote herself to other projects. In the meantime, as we reflect on the new season, we can enjoy a useful and enjoyable review of the previous three.
