FanDuel CEO Says Travis Kelce’s Bet Doubled Thanks to Taylor Swift

By now, sports fans should be well aware of the impact a megastar like Taylor Swift can have on virtually any industry they come into contact with.

Since Swift first attended an NFL game to watch Travis Kelce “rock the stage,” the league’s viewership, sales and engagement have increased. The NFL even embraced Swifty mania on its broadcasts and social media accounts, which bothered some fans more than ever and prompted a response from the league.

This is a huge impact. And as it turns out, it’s not just the NFL. Swift’s presence also had an impact on sports betting. FanDuel CEO Amy Howe said Wednesday that bets on Kelsey have doubled since Swift arrived on the scene.

Howe made the comments Wednesday as part of a discussion with DraftKings CEO Jason Robins and moderator CNBC’s Contessa Brewer at the Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas. Robins agreed with Swift’s influence, saying, “Kelsea is taking even more bets. That’s for sure.”

“Just when you think she can’t beat anything else, she conquers the sports world,” he added.

That explains all these Swift themed Kelce bookmakers.
