Kay Adams always tells it like it is.
The FanDuel TV personality clapped back at someone on X, formerly known as Twitter, who said she looked like she rolled out of bed during a recent episode of her show “Up & Adams.”
“Everyone loves Kay Adams and she’s obviously good at her job, but I have to ask, is there something in her contract that says she can dress the way she wants?” wrote user @topha333 in response to a video Adams shared in which she was wearing a brown sweatshirt.
“She still looks great, but the brown sweatshirt screams ‘I just crawled out of bed and coughed at this,'” they added.
“Because I just rolled out of bed and started coughing,” she wrote.
“Just be yourself Kay, we love you here in New England,” one fan said, to which Adams responded, “Love you all.”
The “Up & Adams” show account added the phrase “Cook.”
Many fans agreed that Adams looked great on air and defended her clothing choice, saying her outfit was not disturbing.
“Does her clothing affect her performance in some way that I don’t see?” wrote one fan. “You said she’s good at her job, but somehow one piece of clothing detracts from that?”
Another added: “Still time to delete this Chris… Brown sweatshirt looks (fire) on her.”
Other fans trolled user X for not saying “allowed” in his post, which he mocked in a separate reply.
This wasn’t the first time Adams responded to a troll on social media with her well-documented sarcasm.
The beloved host is known for her candid interactions and banter with coaches, athletes and other guests on “Up & Adams,” FanDuel TV’s flagship daily morning talk show premiering in September 2022.
Adams previously hosted “Good Morning Football” on the NFL Network.
