Fans speculated that Drake took a shot at Rihanna during her much-talked-about song “Fear of Heights” from her new album, For All The Dogs. Now, they’re sharing a resurfaced clip of the recording artist admitting she wants to start a family with the singer.
A fan on X (the platform’s official name is Twitter) shared a clip from Drake’s appearance on HBO’s LeBron James show “The Shop: Uninterrupted.” The “Rich Flex” rapper said he fantasizes about living a fairytale life with Rihanna, including starting a family.

“I don’t have a fairy tale, ‘Oh, Drake and Rihanna started a family. It’s perfect,'” he explain. “It looks really good on paper. By the way, I wanted that too at one point.”
X users shared The video was captioned: “Drake is mocking Rihanna but says he wants to start a family with LeBron on his show.”
Drake reportedly met Rihanna at a Toronto restaurant in 2005 and became friends with her. The 36-year-old has apparently been lusting after the “Diamonds” singer ever since. At the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, Drake told the audience that he had been in love with Rihanna since he was 22, to which Rihanna responded with “dab.”
Shortly after, in 2018, Rihanna told Vogue that she was no longer friends with Drake.
“We don’t have a friendship now, but we’re not enemies either. “That’s it,” she said.
The singer now has two sons, RZA Athelston Mayers, 1, and Riot Rose Mayers, who was born in August, with her partner A$AP Rocky.
Even though Rihanna appears to be in a happy new relationship, Drake’s new song “Afraid of Heights” finds the rapper seemingly talking about someone running away. However, the lyrics in the song have led fans to speculate that the song is a diss to RiRi, especially his mentions of “Gyal,” “anti,” and having sex with her which isn’t surprising.
“Why do they sound like I’m still thinking about you? That’s never going to happen. Jarl can’t destroy me. He’s better than me. Better not be me. I object, I object,” he raps.
Drake also rapped, “Yeah, you’re gender average. Yeah, I object ’cause I’m with you.”
Fans reacted to the video on X.
“I can’t take Drake seriously anymore, he’s just telling the truth,” one replied.
“Drake’s mixed signals about Rihanna are hilarious!”
“I know Rocky is hyping up,” another added.
Meanwhile, neither Rihanna nor A$AP Rocky responded to Drake’s offensive behavior.
