Origin of Rachel Zegler
She was born on May 3, 2001 in Hackensack, New Jersey and is of Colombian and Polish descent. It owes its name to Rachel Green, a famous character from Friends. She came to acting in her teens, when she took part in several school theater productions.
Career
His debut in the world of acting took place quite recently. Rachel Zegler actually made her debut in 2021 with West Side Story, a Steven Spielberg remake in which she plays Maria. Thanks to this performance, she received a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical Film, becoming the youngest recipient of this award.
