From Tomorrow Oppenheimer and Tonight After Nolan’s Unreleased Debut

1The long-awaited Oppenheimer arrives in Lucca, director Christopher Nolan’s latest masterpiece. The film is about three hours long for comfortable viewing in the cinemas of the city. The action takes place in the 1940s and focuses on the historical figure of the American scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy, who is considered one of the fathers of the atomic bomb. Also in the cast are Emily Blunt, Gary Oldman, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Kenneth Branagh, Josh Hartnett and Rami Malek: an international all-star cast that leaves its mark on every viewer.

The film will be shown tomorrow, Wednesday, in the Italian version at Cinema Astra and every day in the original English version with Italian subtitles at the Cinema Moderno, to better enjoy the masterpiece.

And to better prepare for this film, tonight, Tuesday, at 21:30 in the cinematic arena of the Villa Bottini, in EstatecinemA, for the first time on Italian screens, the first film directed by Nolan and a preview in Lucca “The Follow-up” will be shown. Set in London, it tells the story of Bill, a young aspiring writer who finds himself unemployed and decides to start following people he doesn’t know in hopes of finding material for his novel. Bill stalks them, trying to infiltrate their lives and even their homes, but runs into someone who will change his life.
