This week, World and Provincial Breastfeeding Week will be held in the province of Misiones under the motto “Promoting and sustaining breastfeeding when returning to work”.
Therefore, from today until Monday, August 7th, the Department of Public Health will be conducting different activities aimed at advising pregnant and postpartum mothers, family members and the community at large in Posadas.
As a first initiative, this morning there will be a promotional day at the San Martín Square and Maternity and Neonatal Hospital, from 9 am to 12 pm, and the start of the new week will be at 9 am with an event in the hall of the institution, Mothers will hold an event in the lobby of the institution. Who will tell about their breastfeeding experiences will participate.
In the afternoon, at the Arboretum, there will be a series of lectures under the slogan “As Natural as Giving Breasts”, starting at 3:00 pm.
Tomorrow at 9.30am there will be a lecture by the interdisciplinary team in the central hall on the ground floor of the Neonatal Hospital and at 10.30am at the Mothers’ Residence a lecture on “Dispelling Breastfeeding Myths and Beliefs”.
Likewise, on Thursday 3rd August at 9am the hospital will host an Ateneo presentation on “Challenges of Milk Bank Integration” and on Friday 4th August there will be a presentation with the maternity team, Delivering the gift together” Civil Co-existence”.
The closure will be at the Puerto Rico Hospital “Ricardo Gutiérrez” on Monday, August 7th at 9:00 am.
