Glastonbury Festival announced the former poster line-up confirming Arctic Monkeys And Guns N’ Roses as headliner along with Elton John.
For Alex Turner’s group this is the third participation on the main stage – the Pyramid Stage – for the GnR of the first time at Worthy Farm.
Among the other names announced we find LizzoLewis Capaldi ManeskinThe War On Drugs, ChvrchesChristine And The Queens, ThundercatCarly Rae Jepsen et Manic Street Preachers.
The organization Emily Eavis belongs to has also kept its promise made in 2020 by bringing this edition to substantial gender equality. 52% of the 54 names announced are male and if the headliners are all men, Eavis explained to the Guardian, it is due to the cancellation of an artist who changed her plans at the last minute (it is probably Taylor Swift but her name was not done). Below is the detail.
