Singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo is gaining recognition for her recently released album. GUTSfans speculate which songs are about whom. X (formerly Twitter) exploded with conspiracies about possible feud following its publication SOUR and continues after exit GUTS. Rodrigo has since denied any feud.
In accordance with DiversityRodrigo states: “I don’t fight with anyone. There’s nothing to say… There are so many conspiracies on Twitter.”

The question of what caused these rumors surfaced before the release of Rodrigo’s debut album. Rodrigo openly expressed her love for famous singer Taylor Swift, and Swift returned the love and provided support.
Ounces SOUR was released, fans noticed the distance between the two artists. Rodrigo was accused of copying songs by Paramore, as well as Swift herself. Due to conflicting opinions, Rodrigo gave credit to both artists. Fans noticed the distance around the time Rodrigo paid tribute to Swift. X emerged with rumors that the two had had an argument which had caused their friendship to crumble.
Finally, Rodrigo debunked all the controversy as she wants to focus on herself as a songwriter and performer.
