Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt cross-promote each other’s skin care lines in the press

May we all get to a place where we can promote a competing product to our ex-market genderless skin care product. When Brad Pitt introduced his skincare brand Le Domaine last year, he says Gwyneth PaltrowGoop skin care inspiration. These two were a couple in the ’90s, then a lot of history happened, and now Paltrow is happily married to someone else, Pitt is a sculptor, and they have competing luxury skincare lines. So what’s Paltrow’s verdict on her ex-turned-friend’s lotion line?

“It’s good,” Paltrow said. Marisa Meltzer in a new interview with New York Times “Yes, it’s really beautiful.”

Good! The conversation naturally turned to the many current celebrity skincare brands besides Pitt’s and Paltrow’s. Paltrow was also upbeat about it. “We have so many other brands now that are similar to us,” she said. “I feel good about it. Competition is what keeps everyone honest.”

Paltrow recently continued Alex Cooperpodcast, Call her daddy and discussed her “basic chemistry” with Pitt and how he proposed to her in Argentina. “I wish I could remember exactly what he said, but he made an offer. It was delicious. I was delighted,” she said at the time. “We talked about it, but at that moment I was surprised, I remember it… I must have been 24 years old.”

So, the lesson, if there is one, is that if you live long enough, the man with whom you experienced “great, great love at first sight” will seek your approval for his skin care business.
