CARD INFORMATION

After winning 4 Academy Awards during Oscar night for All Quiet on the Western Front, director Ed Berger seems to be ready to embark on a new adventure with the series helltown. Oscar Isaac, according to some reports, would be in talks as the protagonist.

The actor, who is currently taking a break from film to star in the Broadway play The Sign in Sidney Brustein’s Window, it seems he intends to return to the small screen after the excellent results achieved last year with Scenes from a Marriage which showed the chemistry between Isaac and Jessica Chastain. According to the latest rumors the agreements would appear to be in the final stage for Ed Berger’s new project to produce and direct Helltown. Also involved in the production are Robert Downey Jr and Susan Downey with their production company Team Downey and Severance producer Mohamed El Masri.

Helltown will be made for Amazon Prime and will see Oscar Isaac playing a young Kurt Vonnegut before he became a successful writer and a true icon of literature. Set in the late 60s, the story should tell of a still young Kurt who lives with his wife and 5 children, writing his stories and selling cars. When two women are found on the beaches of Provincetown, the man will go on the trail of the serial killer forging a strange and complex relationship with what appears to be the prime suspect.

This is not the only project the actor is involved in at the moment. According to the latest rumors Oscar Isaac could be among the protagonists of the new Frankenstein by Guillermo Del Toro. What do you think? Tell us about it in the comments!
