Drake enraged the Miami crowd with a little help from Tom Brady on Friday night, with the hitmaker claiming the former quarterback was the “real GOAT.”
Brady retired from football in February, but he has an unrivaled resume in the sport that includes seven Super Bowl rings, three MVPs and the most touchdown passes ever.
Drake’s South Beach crowd went wild for Brady when he appeared with the rapper at the Kasea Center, home of the Miami Heat.
The two were later seen embracing before Drake took the stage.
The 36-year-old rapper has an impressive catalog of songs, with 12 hit singles to his name more than any other rapper.
He will return to his hometown of Toronto for two shows at Scotiabank Arena on October 6 and 7.
Brady returned to the New England Patriots earlier this month and his jersey number has been retired by the team.
“Twenty-three years ago, no one would have imagined that this journey would lead us to where we are today,” he said during the Patriots’ 25-20 loss to the visiting Philadelphia Eagles.
“Our lives take us on different journeys, take us to different places, bring different people into our lives,” Brady said in a speech.
“But one thing I know for sure will never change: I am a lifelong patriot.”
