Hit-Boy has created a lasting legacy through his efforts in producing some of the biggest hip-hop records of the last decade. Now fans will have the chance to profit from one of them, as the 36-year-old producer is auctioning off some of the publishing rights to a track he contributed to Travis Scott’s latest album. Utopia.
Houston artist released his fourth studio album Utopia, in late July and, as usual, it had a star-studded lineup that was not initially advertised, with the exception of “K-Pop” featuring Bad Bunny and The Weeknd. Hit-Boy recently posted a listing on eBay, where fans can bid for his five percent share of the song’s publishing. In addition to the publishing promotions, the winning bidder will also receive the AKAI MPK61 electronic keyboard that Hit used to create the record. The highest bid amount is currently $20,408 among 135 bids submitted.
