HM Modelo joins trial analyzing ‘double’ vaccination for flu and covid-19

The study will be assessed by the Royal Hospital Ethics Committee and Aemps, Cooperation of 300 volunteersHM Modelo de A Coruña explained that during the two-month period, each participant had to go to the hospital three times.

Those who are interested in participating can leave their information at the internal medicine counter of the center, and the center will contact them and evaluate whether their personal information is suitable for participating in Hipra clinical trials.

Selected candidates will be notified a few days before their appointment to receive two vaccines: one for the coronavirus and another for the seasonal influenza vaccine being administered during Galicia’s current vaccination campaign.

Last year, HM Modelo Hospital also participated in a Hipra clinical trial to evaluate the immunogenicity and safety of the Bimervax booster vaccine in people who had previously received two doses of AstraZeneca adenovirus.

The hospital centers involved include four Catalan hospitals: Valladolid Clinic, Royal Model Hospital of A Coruna, Santiago Hospital and Malaga Regional Hospital.
