He later impressed creators such as Lena Dunham, who gave him his first leading acting role as Adam Sackler in Girls. Now he has become one of the most sought-after actors of the current generation.

Adam Driver recently criticized major studios over strikes in Hollywood
Adam Driver recently presented his film Ferrari at the 2023 Venice Film Festival. At a press conference for the film, Driver commented on the strikes in Hollywood and criticized major studios like Netflix and Amazon for not recognizing the importance of the demands of the SAG-AFTRA union. He said (via The Hollywood Reporter):
“I’m very happy to be here to support this film, but I’m also very proud to be here, to be the visual representative of a film that is not part of AMPTP, and to promote SAG management’s directive that this is an effective tactic – and this is a temporary agreement.
Why is it that a small distribution company like Neon (Ferrari) and STX International can meet the demands of Dream As Asked (SAG) but a big company like Netflix and Amazon cannot? It just makes it more obvious that these people are willing to support the people they work with and others are not.”
On the work front, Driver’s biographical sports drama film Ferrari will be released in theaters on December 25, 2023. He’s also set to star in Francis Ford Coppola’s sci-fi epic. Megapolis, along with Forest Whitaker, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf and Giancarlo Esposito.
