I set goals but I didn’t set a timetable to achieve them

Iran: Time is running out for Israel and the “nightmare of destruction” cannot be removed

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said: Time is running out for Tel Aviv “to continue crimes against the people of Gaza,” at a time when “Revolutionary Guard” commander Hossein Salami was threatening the United States and its ally Israel. with “a nightmare of destruction that cannot be removed,” talk of reaching his country is “a military deterrent that no force can address.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian wrote on the “X” platform, which is banned in Iran: “Time is rapidly running out for the continuation of Tel Aviv’s crimes.” He added: “The only advantage for Netanyahu is that he undermines the foundations of the false Israeli entity and clearly shows the criminal, violent and aggressive face of Israel in killing children and women in Gaza.” He added: “Without a doubt, the future belongs to the Palestinians.”

In turn, the Iranian Foreign Ministry denounced the G7 statement, which called on Tehran to stop supporting Hamas and Hezbollah and not to adopt measures that “destabilize the Middle East”.

Agence France-Presse reported that Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani strongly condemned this statement. He said: “Since the beginning of the current crisis in Gaza, the Islamic Republic of Iran has undertaken continuous efforts to stop the military attacks now launched by the aggressor Zionist entity against Gaza and to save the lives of its defenseless citizens and residents . “

Kanaani added: “What was expected of the G7 Foreign Ministers in Tokyo was to fulfill their international responsibilities, including condemning the actions of the Zionist entity in Gaza, which violate human rights and international law, and to stop supporting war crimes and genocide in Gaza. ”, as reported by the French press agency, by the official “IRNA” agency in Arabic.

Iranian officials use the term “axis of resistance” to describe armed groups that Western powers describe as “agents of Iran.” As attacks against American forces in Syria and Iraq have increased, Iranian officials have said these groups are “independent in their opinions, decisions and actions.”

Revolutionary Guard Commander Hussein Salami said: “Gaza has today become a cemetery for the United States and the Zionist entity.” He added: “The entity that occupies Jerusalem cannot regain its lost power,” according to Fars Agency, affiliated to the Revolutionary Guards.

Salami stated that “fear (…) disappeared with the Palestinian youth movement” and said: “No one can remove the nightmare of death from the minds of Israelis”, and added: “The nightmare of destruction cannot has left the minds of Americans and Israelis, and everyone should know that Gaza is “victorious.”

Salami added: “The issue has brought Israelis and some Western countries to the point of thinking that killing children will give them power, but they must know that they will not achieve their goals.”

Salami spoke at a conference organized by a military university affiliated with the General Staff, discussing maritime opportunities and threats for Iran, coinciding with the presentation of a plan sent by Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei regarding development prospects focused on the seas.

Salami said: “American leaders believe they cannot be reached due to their country’s presence between the Atlantic and Pacific oceans,” describing this policy as “artificial and false.” He saw the seas as “a political instrument for realizing dreams of American hegemony.” He said: “America’s strategy is to control the world and they are trying to transfer it across the seas together with air power. Because the sea has an important impact on the structure of power and the organization of American military power.”

He added: “Today, Iran has achieved a deterrent force in the military field, and no force can confront it.” But he said: Iran “does not seek conflict with normal countries. We are not the enemies of those countries and they are not our enemies.” He continued: “We will not go to war with our neighbors even in the world of the imagination, but we can plan to hinder non-regional powers.”

In one part of his speech, he underlined the importance of transporting oil and gas by sea in light of global demand. He said: “Any country that can organize global needs has power and influence, and this leads to the achievement of national self-security.” He said: “Now we have a very strong deterrent and, with the transition of power, the value of the seas will increase and the security situation will become stronger for the Islamic Republic.”

Salami spoke of aspirations to expand artificial intelligence used in missiles, radar systems, unmanned boats and naval vessels.

There was no comment from Iran on the U.S. military’s attack on a facility in Syria, following attacks launched by an Iraqi faction linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard against U.S. and coalition forces in Syria and Iraq.

US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said: The US struck an Iran-linked “weapons storage facility” in Syria on Wednesday, in response to attacks on American employees.

Afterwards, Biden told reporters: The United States will again strike targets linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and its affiliated groups if necessary.

In Berlin, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said today (Thursday): “The war in Gaza must not turn into a major regional conflict. Iran and Hezbollah must stay out of this battle.”
