Gisele Bündchen has no regrets about her marriage and divorce from Tom Brady.

“I can choose more of what I want,” she told Lee Cowan from her home in Costa Rica. “I thought I was better able to survive before, and now that I’m alive, it’s different.”
It has been nearly a year since Bündchen and Brady filed for divorce after 13 years of marriage. The former power couple, who have two children together, have faced serious difficulties as the football legend did not retire after just 40 days and returned to play in the NFL for another season.
“I look at my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way, I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Bundchen continued. “It won’t change anything at all.”
“Not even divorce?” Cowan asked.
“I don’t think this is my dream and my hope. My parents have been married for 50 years and I would really like something like this to happen,” Bundchen replied. “But I think you have to accept that, you know, sometimes when you’re in your 20s, sometimes you grow together and sometimes you grow together. Except… I mean, he’s the father of my kids, so I Always wish him the best and I’m grateful he gave me great kids. I think when one door closes, other doors open.”
Bündchen was recently interviewed by Vogue Brazil’s new chapter about her.
“I’ve always believed that every situation, no matter how challenging, teaches us something and helps us grow,” Bündchen said in a Portuguese-language interview for the magazine’s October issue. “Breaking up is never easy, especially when the media is speculating every step of the breakup.”
She added: “I strive to be myself every day and put all my love into everything I do. I hope I can become a better, more aware person and continue to put that love into Spread everywhere it goes.”
As for whether Bündchen is dating again, she’s been very private about that aspect of her life. Earlier this year she was rumored to be in a relationship with jiu-jitsu coach Joaquim Valente. She called him a good friend. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel has slammed a “ridiculous” report that she is dating billionaire hotel mogul Jeffrey Soffer, who is also a good friend of Brady’s.
Brady sparked romance rumors with fellow model Irina Shayk after they were photographed getting intimate in a car in Los Angeles. Since that intimate outing, the two have not been photographed together again.
