Madonnaa month after being hospitalized for a bacterial infection, posted a long and touching message on social media about his children.
These are his touching words.
“The love of family and friends is the best medicine. A month out of the hospital and I can think.
As a mother, I can now truly participate in my children’s needs and seemingly endlessly give… But when things got worse, my children really became available to me. I saw a side of them that I hadn’t seen before. All of this contributed to my recovery.
As well as the love and support of my friends. If you zoom in on this image, you’ll see that I’m holding an Andy Warhol-made Polaroid of Keith Haring wearing a jacket with Michael Jackson’s face painted on it. The perfect glitter triangle. An artist who touched so many lives, including mine.
I sobbed when I opened this gift because I realized how lucky I am to be alive. And how lucky I am to have known these people and many others who are no longer here.
