Florence, 15 March 2023 – Until 27 May eight dates that will feature pop music reinterpreted in a classic key with a starry sky that will envelop spectators in the church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, famous for its immersive experiences.
The concerts starry night they transport spectators into a unique and evocative world thanks to a multifaceted program of pop music reinterpreted in a classical key exclusively at the Cathedral of the Image. Starry Night therefore goes far beyond the format of traditional concerts: while spectators enjoy the music, they are slowly enveloped in the starry skies projected in high resolution onto the surfaces of the Romanesque church. The result is a unique event to take your breath away, where you can immerse yourself in the magical constellations surrounded by the power of the music of the greatest pop artists from around the world as you have never heard them before.
Imagine listening to your favorite music suspended in the starry sky. The Cathedral of the Image is proud to announce the launch of its first immersive concert format: Starry Night – Immersive Concerts. Eight dates from 18 March to 27 May at 21 in the heart of Florence, in the church of Santo Stefano al Ponte, which will give life to unique performances. Starry Night goes far beyond the format of traditional concerts: in fact, spectators are simultaneously enveloped by music and starry skies projected in high resolution onto the surfaces of the church.
The first appointment will be with Girl Power!, a concert entrusted to Amelia Sharp’s cello which will celebrate the power of women with the music of the greatest international pop artists such as Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Cindy Lauper, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Alicia Keys , Madonna and Rihanna. The second concert will be a tribute to the music of the all-Italian rock phenomenon of these years: the Maneskin. Starry Night meets the international phenomenon of the band which, after having triumphed at X-Factor, Sanremo and Eurovision, was launched on the international music scene and has never stopped since. The third event of this first series of concerts will instead be dedicated to a true icon of pop music and beyond: Lady Gaga.
