Anzoategui state has seven hemodialysis centers that treat patients with chronic kidney disease and provide services free of charge.

There are two spaces in the hospital center for the treatment of end-stage renal failure, in addition to five out-of-hospital spaces for renal replacement therapy, either peritoneal dialysis or hemodialysis.

Three of these centers are located in the north of the state, specifically Barcelona and Puerto de la Cruz. Others were ready in Anaco, Cantaura and El Tigre.
