Israelis take to the streets: Netanyahu is the biggest disaster

Last night, two separate groups protested in Israel. While a group of Israelis protested against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in front of his residence, a large group demanded the release of Israelis captured by Hamas.

Israelis organized a demonstration in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s residence in West Jerusalem, carrying banners and chanting anti-Netanyahu slogans.

The phrase “Netanyahu is the biggest disaster for the State of Israel” on one of the banners attracted attention. Another banner called on Netanyahu to resign, reading: “Bibi is dangerous, resign immediately.”

The police prevented the demonstrators, who also carried Israeli flags, from approaching the house.

Relatives of the authorities also took to the streets

Thousands of Israelis, in addition to relatives of prisoners, attended the demonstration organized in front of the Tel Aviv Museum of Art by relatives of prisoners held by Hamas.

Their relatives carried pictures of Israeli prisoners and chanted in English and Hebrew: “Send them back to their homeland now.” They chanted.

The demonstrators repeated their demands for the release of prisoners in Gaza, and stressed that they will continue the struggle until all of them are released.

On the other hand, the occupation police took strict security measures around the area where the demonstration was held, and closed the ring roads to traffic.
