Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid confirmed Thursday that it is difficult to eliminate Hamas.

In an interview with Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath he also said that the issue of the two-state solution is very complex.

He continued: “We do not accept harming any innocent person in the West Bank.”

The tension increases
