The episode began with Taylor Swift frightened by the possibility of another terrible prank while on Ellen’s couch. However, DeGeneres said she couldn’t top the way she did it the first time. She also added, “You were the most scared… well, I don’t know Sarah Paulson was good either.”
To this, Swift said: “It was a near-death experience. I had several ways to die.” Ellen replied, “Well, now you’re being dramatic.” Swift then added, “I was actually just watching it backstage and thinking, ‘Thank you so much for going above and beyond to make people happy.’

Taylor then pointed to a photo of herself last time she acted out and said, “That’s not a very good example, but then it was funny, you laughed so much later when I found myself… I liked the sound so much that I found that I’m doing it.” The icon then imitated Ellen’s laugh in the funniest way.
She also sent a message to her fans saying, “If you go back and watch this on Youtube, listen to her laugh and then who will be embarrassed.”
The incident in question occurred in November 2009 when Taylor Swift attended the show and was directed into a fake dressing room with cameras. The singer expected to see a room with photos of her and Ellen, but instead, when she entered the room, Ellen jumped out and scared her. Swift’s reaction was hysterical: she fell to the floor. During her performance on the show, the singer was scared several times. However, the locker room prank was said to be the best of all. It ended with both ladies falling to the floor and laughing.
