‘It’s not Tom Brady anymore’: Grammy winner Bad Bunny hints at who the US GOAT is in his latest song

Tom Brady is considered by many to be the undisputed GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of college football thanks to his illustrious 22-year NFL career filled with outstanding accomplishments. In those 23 years, he won seven Super Bowls, besting every NFL team. Brady’s sterling play never waned and he retired when he was 44 years old. He became a defining decision in the ongoing debate about who is better – coach or player.

Brady led his team like a linchpin, and his unparalleled accomplishments, reliability, leadership and work ethic earned him his place as one of the greatest players of all time. It is doubtful that ambitious advocates will be able to live up to the exceptionally high standards he has set. Even as they look to take his place, another player of Brady’s caliber may never emerge.

However, famous rapper and singer Bad Bunny suggests that Tom Brady is no longer the GOAT in the US since Messi arrived.

In his new song VUELVE CANDY B, Bad Bunny celebrated this change by saying:

“Since Messi (Messi) is in the USA

Does the world know who is the best?

I’m not Tom Brady, hey”

This translates to: “Since Messi is in the USA, everyone knows who the GOAT is. It’s not Tom Brady anymore.”

Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny seem to be crossing paths in the news these days. Lionel Messi and his wife Antonella Roccuzzo were having dinner with David and Victoria Beckham at Bad Bunny’s Gekko restaurant in Miami when the fight broke out. Ahead of his MLS debut, Messi wore the June 2023 Bad Bunny x Adidas Response CL Triple Black.

Argentina secured victory in World Cup qualifying with Messi replacement

Argentina recorded a convincing 1-0 win over Paraguay in World Cup qualifying, with Messi coming on as a second-half substitute. Nicolas Otamendi scored his first point in World Cup qualifying with a powerful shot from the right side of the penalty area in the third minute.

This initial goal paved the way for Argentina’s remarkable performance. They dominated the game in the first half and had the ball 75% of the time during the match. Paraguay were barely able to hold onto the ball long enough to complete the set-piece and only had one shot on target throughout the match.

At the beginning of the second half, Messi replaced Julián Alvarez in the game. At first he rejected Otamendi’s offer to receive the captain’s armband, but in the end he gave in, put it on, and did it with a smile.

Emiliano Martinez, Argentina’s goalkeeper, set a new national record for the most scoreless minutes in goal thanks to the impeccable defense that Argentina provided throughout the match. With 609 minutes without a goal, Martinez has not missed a goal for Argentina since the World Cup final against France last December.

Argentina will continue its participation in the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers with an upcoming match against Peru on October 17.
