About the latest episode 7 p.m., Brooklyn Lox rapper Jadakiss shared a hilarious story about how he nearly wiped out Carmelo Anthony and The Kid Mero while smoking a cigar at Team Jordan’s resort in Puerto Rico.
When Anthony brought up Jordan’s retreat earlier this year (which Jadakiss also attended), the rapper nonchalantly responded, “They killed me, they lined me up.” During the retreat, All Jordan Brand representative players were on hand to relax and unwind. Jada put on a little show for everyone in attendance, and after the party he noticed someone rolling Cuban cigars for the guests.
“The drinks were flowing…’Yo, let me have a cigar,'” Jada continued. “Now, I’ve been smoking cigars for maybe a month or two. Now I’m probably six months into it…I’m learning. They gave me one of the craziest cigars…I said, ‘Yo, I should I know because I’ve never seen one with small writing on the front! It’s crazy…I let them gas me. Like Kimbo Slice hit me in the head from behind. I couldn’t stand up.”
At one point, he remembers being told to “get rid of it,” but all he could think about was standing up and drinking some water. “I had to lift it in front of everyone and I couldn’t, my legs were like noodles,” I shared. “They gave it to me, man. They gave me a $30,000 cigar that killed me… I know next time, it’s a lesson. Stay in your lane at the cigar contest … They gave me Jordan six rings! When Jordan got fired up. They gave me the top.”
Anyone familiar with Michael Jordan knows that his favorite thing was cigars.from beginning to end last danceFor example, he has witnessed smoking some of the best cigars in the world. Jada and Melo even referenced the scene in the documentary where Jordan has a cigar in his mouth while swinging a baseball bat.
“They wanted to kill me, dog,” Jada said with a laugh. Although the cigar almost broke him, he said the retreat overall was “awesome” and he had a great time. “Still, shake it off. If I try to stand up, I’ll get the virus,” he added.
