Jalen Hurts leads the Eagles into Tampa Bay as heavy favorites against the Buccaneers.

Philadelphia barely lived up to expectations in the game.

Philadelphia’s win at Tampa Bay marked Hurts’ 10th consecutive win on the road, which is the Eagles quarterback’s longest winning streak, CBS Sports’ Jeff Kerr reports. He is also one of only three quarterbacks under the age of 25 to start 10 consecutive road games, joining Patrick Mahomes (11 consecutive games in 2019-20) and Lamar Jackson (2019-20) 10 consecutive games in the season).

That would be the icing on the cake for Hurts, who has become one of the NFL’s most reliable starting quarterbacks during his career.

Hurts came close to winning his first Super Bowl ring in the 2023 NFL playoffs, but the Eagles lost to the Chiefs 38-35. That’s where he’ll be looking to change his fortunes as Philadelphia targets the 2024 Super Bowl.
