“Never, never give in to hope.” Oh, in Australia they presented the first official trailer for a dark comedy called Bad behavior, yes, with the British spelling of the word “Behaviour”. The film hails from New Zealand and is directed by Australian actress Alice Englert, who also stars. It originally premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was voted by most critics as one of the worst films at the festival. Bad behavior is a dark comedy about Lucy, a former child actress who seeks enlightenment at a retreat led by spiritual leader Elon, while also maintaining a close but tumultuous relationship with her stuntwoman daughter, Dylan. Movie stars Jennifer Connelly, Ben Whishaw, Alice Englert, Ana Scotney, Dasha Nekrasova, Marlon Williams, Beulah KoaleAnd Karan Gill. Reviews describe it as “a boring, weird film about an unpleasant woman’s search for enlightenment (that’s) as aimless as its characters.” Enjoy?
