The film will be her first performance since her Oscar-winning role in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. Memory’s initial release date will be September 8th.

In In Memoriam, she plays Sylvia, “a social worker and recovering alcoholic struggling with childhood trauma who lives a simple and structured life.” It opens when Saul follows her home from a high school reunion.

“Their unexpected meeting will deeply affect them both as it opens a door to the past,” according to IMDb.

For the film, Jessica didn’t wear makeup, didn’t have a trailer, and bought herself costumes for filming in New York…

Speaking about the filming, she said: “Since I sometimes do bigger things and get a lot of attention lately, (there was an idea) that I wouldn’t be interested in being on set without a trailer…

“We had an Oscar and I won it for Tammy Faye, and then right after that I showed up on set to do Memento.” Michel said a lot of people told him, “Oh, Jessica is going to leave your movie because she just won an Oscar.”

Her stunning appearance comes two days after the star publicly showed her support for Sophie Turner – amid her recent split from Joe Jonas.

The relationship between the 34-year-old singer and the 27-year-old GOT sensation has become increasingly messy after Joe filed for divorce from the mother of his two children in Miami, Florida earlier this month.

And Jessica took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to show her support for pal Sophie, retweeting a tweet from another account that Joe had criticized.

Taking to

— And keep the children’s passports to hide them from their mother? Bro.’

The actress then captioned the retweeted post with “Oracle @rgay (heart emoji).

The tweet comes after Jonas Brothers star Joe filed for divorce from Sophie on September 1, with details of the couple’s messy divorce battle emerging daily.

After filing for divorce, Joe took to Instagram to post a statement claiming to come from both him and Sophie, asking for privacy from the public during this difficult time.

The post read: “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage…

“There is a lot of speculation as to why, but in reality this is a unanimous decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our privacy wishes for us and our children.”

However, it appears the couple’s divorce still hasn’t been amicable, as Sophie’s lawyers last week accused Joe of “wrongfully detaining” their children.

The couple has three-year-old Willa and 14-month-old Delphine, whose name was recently revealed.

In court documents, Sophie claimed the fight on August 15 could have been the end of their marriage, with Joe filing for divorce less than three weeks later.

Sophie also claimed that she was not told directly about the divorce, and it was also alleged that Joe did not return the children’s passports so Sophie could return to England with the children.
