Jessica Chastain received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Tammy Wynette, the popular country music singer whom she brought to the small screen in the series George & Tammy. The project told the love story between the artist and George Jones, also a star of the US country scene.
The new work by Melissa James Gibson, co-creator of Anatomy of a Scandal, available on Netflix, consists of eight episodes and is based on a true story published by Andrea Stanley on Cosmopolitan. The journalist will participate in the project as a consultant.
