Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner have reportedly reached an agreement to settle their divorce in plain sight.
Page six reported that Joe filed a motion to dismiss his petition for divorce from Sophie on Thursday, October 12, in Miami. It came after a four-day mediation between the couple and a “temporary child custody agreement.”
The temporary custody agreement, which will last until Jan. 7, 2024, will allow Willa, 3, and Delphine, 1, to spend Thanksgiving with their father and Christmas with their mother.
“Following a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will enjoy equal time in loving homes in both the US and UK,” Joe and Sophie said in a statement to Page Six.
According to the publication, the documents in the petition to deny the divorce indicate that the singer and actress have reached “various agreements” and plan to “achieve a peaceful resolution of all issues.”
“We hope to be great parents,” the couple said.

However, Sophie countersued him demanding the “immediate return” of her daughters to England, and then filed for divorce in the UK. The first two agreed to raise their daughters in England, and Sophie accused Joe of withholding their children’s passports.
Joe’s rep addressed the matter and stated that he did not “kidnap” their children and that he was comfortable with the said agreement.
Meanwhile, the status of Sophie’s divorce filing in the UK is yet to be determined.
