Provided an opportunity to talk about the new record joe perry by a classic rock interviewer who asked him if he could expect a new solo album later “Switzerland Manifesto” ,read review here) released in 2018. The 72-year-old guitarist’s response is a bit surprising: “Not at the moment. I don’t think this is the time to do it. I’d give anything to make another Aerosmith album.”
Pressed on the subject, he suggests though that this may just be his wishful thinking: “I don’t know.
At this point, I want to tour as much as possible. I want to go on stage and play for the fans. That’s really the focus right now, to go and play live. If we get time to work on new music, that would be great, but knowing Steven (Aerosmith frontman, Ed) and knowing our age and what it takes to make an album… I don’t know. I always play, I always write things, but at the moment I can’t say anything. I just want to finish this tour, play live and give something back to the fans. We’ve never been the kind of band where you can sit and go. Especially now, in our age. The air is thin up here. Suffice it to say, many go on to the next step.”

This is Joe’s story: “I was in this band that was huge in the ’70s, but when Billie met me she had no idea. She didn’t know what Aerosmith was, it’s true. She was in the underground punk scene. I was in Boston, she didn’t use a band with a logo. The first time I took her out to dinner, my credit card came back in pieces and had to be paid for. So it was money. Billy said, ‘This band (Aerosmith, Ed) is really cool, why don’t you guys get together?’ I went through the whole list of reasons and realized it was just a load of rubbish, Billy was the one who said ‘why don’t you call Steven I don’t know why you don’t play together’ so I picked up the phone and Steven called upon.
Now joe perry is on tour Hollywood Vampires – composed, as well as by Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp And Tommy Henriksen – and will perform in our country Next July 2 July in Marostica in the province of Vicenza, Farewell tour of Aerosmith will debut on September 2 in the United States, while a collection release has been announced in recent days “greatest Hits” Which will be available from August 18.
