Reigning MVP Joel Embiid lit up Monday night’s game with historic numbers. The Philadelphia 76ers star scored a career-high 70 points against the San Antonio Spurs. Importantly, he not only broke his own personal best, but also several other records involving superstars and legends.

First and most importantly, he broke the 76ers franchise record for most points in a game. Previously, NBA legend Wilt Chamberlain held the record of scoring 68 points in a single game against the Chicago Bulls. 57 years later, Embiid broke out, scoring 70 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists.
