On September 10, John Legend’s wife, Chrissy Teigen, posted the most adorable clip of her and Voice Coach kisses his newborn baby, Ren. In the video, Legend held the baby as he and Teigen leaned in to kiss Ren on either side of his face. We then briefly see Ren looking at the camera with a confused face. How nice!
“The Kiss Sandwich is back! Some people like it more than others. (I think? I have yet to find them),” Teigen captioned the post.
“Rude!” Legend made a cheeky comment.

To the surprise of fans, baby Ren was born through a surrogate mother in June 2023. The couple already share children Luna, 7, Miles, 5, and Esty, 9 months. Teigen announced the exciting news on Instagram and shared the sentimental meaning behind her newborn’s name.
“We also met the most incredible, compassionate surrogate we could ever imagine, Alexandra. I knew she was perfect for us as soon as we spoke to her. All our desires and dreams coincided. I wanted to be her friend, I wanted our children to play, I wanted to have dinner together, I wanted to lay my head on her stomach and feel the hiccups and kicks. I wanted them to be in our lives for as long as time allowed,” Teigen wrote on the page.
She added: “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra. And we are so happy to tell the world that he is here and his name is forever associated with you. Wren Alexander Stevens. Our hearts and our home are officially full.”

In a recent interview with PeopleTeigen said she and Legend are still close with the surrogate.
“We talk all the time, text constantly. She sees all my Instagram stories and I try to send her little behind the scenes photos. At the beginning of this journey, I told her that I needed someone to be there for me. for birthdays and for life,” she told the publication.
She continued, “I think the way I interact with anyone in our house, whether it’s the nannies or my mother who lives with us, or my friends who are in the house, or security, or whatever, I want to create an atmosphere where everyone feels truly comfortable in our home. home, and this extended to her as well. I felt like she could come at any time and I feel like we still have that relationship. It was really wonderful.”
