Celebrities living in Massachusetts
Sometimes you see them in Back Bay. Aerosmith rockers Joe Perry takes place in Duxbury. Celtics are great Bob Cousy owns a house two minutes from where I grew up in Worcester. He still lives there! Morning show star, Steve Carell from Acton, and owns a family-owned variety store in Marshfield. A few years ago we learned about something VERY cool. From time to time, when it’s not working, Steve Carell returns to Marshfield and gives back to his community by making personal appearances at his family’s store! About 300 enthusiastic fans came to meet Steve and get his autograph. This is a very pleasant, intimate event. Everyone is respectful and doesn’t let it happen on social media. That way it won’t draw a ridiculous crowd that the city can’t control.
Many years ago pop icon Carly Simon participated in To the northeast radio station meet and greet, invites the winners to his HOME in Martha’s Vineyard! The lucky ones were transported to her house on a bus with only one rule: to protect her privacy, the windows on the buses were rolled up so fans couldn’t see where Carly actually lived.
