This is a moment that Legend will never forget. “There are a few artists who have been like that over the years, but John stands out to me. He’s just incredibly gorgeous. He went to concerts with me. He was my finalist that season and he’s incredible,” he said.
After Clarkson was blocked, Legend and Gwen Stefani competed for Holiday’s devotion, but John ended up choosing John, and vice versa.
There may be even more shocking moments in store for Legend as he returns to VoiceUpcoming 24th season. In the promo for the season, Legend pokes some fun at former coach Shelton, who left for the first time in the show’s history after season 23. “Maybe someone will finally be able to classify this chair,” Legend says. Reba McEntire, who replaces Shelton in cowboy boots this season.
Meanwhile, Legend’s chair was briefly stolen… by his wife Chrissy Teigen. In a behind-the-scenes video, the model and cookbook author was filmed pressing the big red button and yelling “Next” as Legend tried to explain the rules of the show. Team Chrissy!
