Depp V Heard, Channel 4 will prepare a documentary series on the case of Depp-Heard
FROM 10 MILLION TO 1 MILLION
Johnny Depp’s libel lawsuit against ex-wife Amber Heard over an editorial published in the Washington Post in which the actress called herself “a public figure who epitomizes domestic violence” ended on June 1, 2022 in a substantial victory for Depp. A jury in Fairfax, Virginia found that Heard was required to pay her ex-husband $10 million. After a series of appeals that fell on deaf ears, Hurd settled out of court with Depp for a much smaller $1 million. However, the actress clarified that the plea deal “is not a guilty plea.”
