A new video released online shows the actress on the set of the film
Joker – Folie à Deux keep talking about yourself although to see it on the big screen there will be a long wait. The sequel debut of Joker – released in 2019 – is scheduled for October 4, 2024 and will see Joaquin Phoenix reprise his role as Arthur Fleck with a highly anticipated new entry by his side: Harley Quinn. To lend her face will be the singer and actress Lady Gaga following Margot Robbie who had played the version of the character in Suicide Squad.
It would also seem that the story of Harley Quinn in the film directed by Todd Philips undergoes changes from the original. She and Joker are supposed to meet in Arkham State Hospital as cellmates instead of doctor and patient, respectively. From the first rumors, therefore, it would seem that there are some changes but no official confirmations have been released yet. The new video portrays the actress in the role of Harley Quinn near a car but wearing dark clothes, which suggests that perhaps the meeting with the Joker did not take place or perhaps the relationship between the two is not yet that deep to have triggered the change in the woman that will lead her to wear the clothes in which we usually see her. The other video instead it showed Arthur being chased by two different Jokers also outside the hospital. It is not known if the scenes are prior to their entry into the structure or if they are later, perhaps at the end of the film.
Among other rumors had spread the one that wanted the film to be told entirely from Harley’s point of view, that if, as mentioned, she will not be presented as a doctor but in turn as a patient, she could provide a different version of the story told and also of the character of Arthur himself. All that remains is to wait for further rumors and news from the set of Joker – Folie à Deux.
