Jordan MVP 678 “Lucky Green” FB9019-003

For decades, Michael Jordan’s winning legacy on the court has been carried on through his Air Jordan collection. While retros of the #23 iconic silhouette continue to dominate, hybrid designs like the Jordan MVP have also found a place in the “His Airness” story.

The Jordan MVP debuts in the first quarter of 2023 with a design inspired by Air Jordan 6 through 8. As the name of the model suggests, and history bears it out, this sneaker is designed to commemorate the three pairs MJ wore during his first set of NBA Finals MVP awards. The shoe has appeared in a number of heritage-inspired color schemes throughout the year, with the latest possibly referencing Jordan’s many dominant Boston Celtics teams. Featuring a mostly off-white finish on the upper, gray accents shine through on the sneakers. The 1991 plastic tongue featured a translucent finish that also featured a rich green underfoot. Branding on the collar and spine comes in a deep black hue, but Air Jordan 8-inspired details on the rear foot further accentuate the friendly green of the Celtics teammate.

Check out official photos of the pair and expect them to release soon on Nike.com. The Jordan MVP is priced at $165.
