Julianne Moore and her son attended the second Albie Awards ceremony in New York yesterday, organized by the Clooney Foundation for Justice.
The iconic couple reappears at the Clooney Foundation for Justice’s annual birthday party. Organized two years ago by Amal and George Clooney, the evening aimed to reward activists who strive for democracy every day.
At this moment, many celebrities were invited to the place. Indeed, the Clooneys could build a reputation for themselves and are likely to have an elite Hollywood club. This secret gala was held at the New York Public Library.
One of the strongest couples in Hollywood is yours: Julianne Moore and her son Bart Freundlich. They met in 1996 on the tour of the film “Coming Home.” Despite being new, the couple is very low-key and married in 2003 while caring for their two children Caleb and Liv.
The inevitable charity event in New York
This charity ceremony is part of the continuity of the social commitments championed by the Clooneys and the creation of this foundation in 2016. The name “Albie Awards” is a tribute to Albie Sachs, a human rights activist who, among others, worked for Nelson Mandela’s Côte.
The gala could also be celebrated in honor of Dr. Denis Mukwege, who worked at his hospital in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and in honor of the death of Mahsa Amini reported here by two Iranian journalists.
