Jungkook releases new single co-written with Justin Bieber

Just two weeks after releasing his latest solo single, Jungkook is back with a new tune. This time it’s not a track he fronts, but a track he features on, and it was co-written by one of the biggest pop stars in history.

Jungkook features on The Kid Laroi’s new single “Too Much”, which was released late Thursday night (October 19). The tune also references English hip-hop musician Central Cee, who is just starting to hit America after finding success in the UK.

“Too Much” was written by a number of famous hitmakers such as Emile Haney, Oma Fedi, Blake Slatkin and, perhaps most notably, Justin Bieber. The pop icon is friends with Lara and their collaboration “Stay” became a No. 1 hit, so it’s no surprise that they worked together on this single.

“Too Much” will be the latest single from The Kid Laroi’s upcoming album. First time. The Australian singer distributed tracks from the project throughout 2023, with some achieving limited commercial success in certain markets around the world. With Jungkook on board, “Too Much” is in the best position to perform well on charts around the world, having already scored several hits this year.

This new single comes as Jungkook is in the process of promoting his upcoming debut solo album. Gold. The release is scheduled for November 3, which will also promote the project’s third official single, “Standing Next to You.”
