Keanu Reeves has said he is interested in returning as agent Jack Traven, the protagonist of Speed, a 1994 Fox film.
It was 1994 when Speed, an action film he saw, was released in theaters Keanu Reeves in the role of Jack Traven, a special agent sent to defuse a bomb that an American terrorist has hidden on a bus. The speed of the bus must be kept above 50mph or the bomb will explode.
The actor explained that he is interested in returning in a possible Speed 3but under one very specific condition. “Absolutely, I would go back if there was a great story and a great script” he told Access Hollywood.
Interesting statements if we consider how the actor had refused to be part of the cast of Speed 2 – Without limits abandoning his colleague Sandra Bullock, confirmed for the sequel, while Jason Patric was hired instead of Reeves.
