New Las Vegas Aces minority owner Tom Brady sat courtside watching Sunday’s Game 1 win over the New York Liberty.
Kelsey Plum let the NFL know she saw him. She’s not letting up on Aces’ latest investor; As the 29-year-old defender recalled after the game.
“It’s about when you show up,” Plum told him.
Brady responded: “You already knew that.”
The seven-time Super Bowl champion also responded after the game. “No one is immune to KP,” he wrote on social media platform X.

While Plumb appreciated Brady’s kind response from her seat at the Michelob Super Arena in Las Vegas, she also appreciated his connection to the team — and not just because she retired the four-pointer Wei calls her favorite athlete.
“I’m really excited about his investment in our team and understanding what it means for us, not just us but the growth of the league and focusing on us,” Plumb said. “So I’m kidding, but, man, it’s great to have him.”
In March, shortly after Brady retired from the NFL, the Aces announced they were acquiring a minority stake in Brady. The WNBA approved its ownership stake ahead of the WNBA Finals.
Brady and Plumb met at an Aces home game in May 2022, when Plumb growled at him and left a lasting impression. The friendship continued, with Brady sending Plum a signed Buccaneers jersey with a personalized note.
