Kim Kardashian and Ray J’s footage was intentionally released, documentary claims

New documentary film House of Kardashianssuggested that the leak of Kim and Ray J’s sex tape was intentional.

A new documentary, due to air on Sky on October 8, claims the leaked sex tape was meant to draw attention to their careers and the Kardashians.

The series will feature never-before-seen footage and interviews from the family themselves, including thoughts from Caitlyn Jenner.

It will contain three episodes that will be released simultaneously for your viewing pleasure and it is sure to cause some shock.

Ray J’s manager, David Weintraub, said: “Ray and Kim filmed a lot of stuff… Ray J and Kim decided they wanted to distribute a sex tape to promote both their careers. At this point, Kim said to her mother, her most trusted confidante, “We can do this, and it may be crazy, but hey, maybe this can be used at our discretion to actually become a tool that can catapult not just me, our family (but also) this business to the next level.’

He added that he believed Kris Jenner knew that if the film was released “properly” and marketed correctly, it would catapult the Kardashians into the spotlight.

He said: “I think Chris felt the best way to promote this sex tape at the time was for everyone to believe it was leaked.”

Caitlyn Jenner said she had “no idea” that a sex tape was intentionally leaked.

She commented: “I’ve never had this conversation—or wanted this conversation.

“But to be honest, I just stayed away from it.

Chris never talked to me about it, I never talked to Kimberly about it, I don’t know what happened, why it happened.”

The documentary also revealed that Kris only received $4,000 in child support for her four children following her divorce from Robert Kardashian.

Throughout the series, we see how matriarch Chris was not born with the same level of privilege as her children, coming from relatively humble origins in San Diego.

She had a short career as a flight attendant for American Airlines before meeting her first husband, Robert, who grew up in the affluent View Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.

The documentary will be available to watch on 8 October on Sky Documentaries and NOW.
