Kylian Mbappe makes cruel comments after beating Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to hit milestone

Mbappe’s cruel comments came after he scored a landmark goal in France’s 14-0 win over Gibraltar, beating Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Deschamps’ side, against a team ranked 198th in the world, showed no mercy after a player was sent off in Gibraltar’s 18th minute.

The visitors were already 3-0 down at this point, and Ethan Santos (who was later sent off) opened the scoring with an own goal.

Marcus Thuram and Warren Zaire Emery scored, while Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot.

Three more players scored before half-time, with Adrien Rabiot making it 8-0 in 63 minutes.

Gibraltar had hoped to keep the score below 10 points before the midfielder’s goal, but the floodgates soon opened, with France scoring a further six goals before full time.

Overall, there were nine scorers in the match, with Olivier Giroud coming off the bench and scoring twice in the final minutes of the game.

Mbappe ended up scoring a hat-trick and providing three assists in a brilliant individual performance.

The French icon also achieved a historic milestone in the competition. He scored his 300th career goal, which is faster than Messi and Ronaldo.

Mbappe made cruel comments in his post-match interview after the game – even as his attention was firmly focused on the match that had just taken place.

Asked about France’s nine goalscorers in the 14-0 win, Mbappe interjected: “Gibraltar players (own goals) have 10-10 goals.”

At the age of 24, Mbappe has scored more goals than Messi (279) and Ronaldo (160) at the same age.

But the forward falls behind Pele in this ranking, with the Brazil legend having scored an incredible 440 goals at the age of 24.
