It’s no secret that LeBron James and Anthony Davis are a deadly duo. However, the long offseason may have made some forget that. That’s why these two great Lakers players had to remind everyone just how good they were against the Suns in the NBA preseason.
One-click highlights Jusuf Nurkic received a harsh welcome from the Lakers in his first game. Davis anticipated the shot from inside the penalty area and blocked it. James quickly sprinted all the way to the other end of the court and completed an acrobatic layup over Kevin Durant.
The Lakers’ one-two punch was limited for a minute, but they still made a mark on the game. Davis scored 15 points and 5 blocks in the first quarter alone. After the third quarter, James had an all-around performance of 19 points, 3 rebounds and 6 rebounds.
