LeBron James reacted to Sports Media analyst Stephen A. Smith’s gesture against the Lakers star against the Rockets.
LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers had a lot of fun Sunday night at home against the Houston Rockets. The four-time league MVP even made a hilarious gesture after a missed layup in the second quarter, as he was seen making a “direct pass” to Los Angeles big man Christian Wood.
Well, this caught the attention of Stephen A. Smith because I shared a message on X along with a video of the aforementioned LeBron James gesture.
“don’t even let me tell it… @KingJames,” Smith said, of course, referring to well known saying James later provided.

LeBron James put on a huge performance as the Lakers took on the Rockets. He made 14 of 19 shots from the field and 7 of 9 free throws, scoring 37 points. He also added six rebounds, eight assists and three steals to move past former Portland Trail Blazers star Clyde Drexler into eighth place on the NBA’s all-time steals list.
James is doing things that most 38-year-olds can’t do in the best basketball league in the world. James, who will turn 39 in December, averaged 26.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game in the 2023-24 NBA regular season. He’s not slowing down, and he must maintain his form as the Lakers continue to rely on his leadership and performance.
After a day off on Monday, LeBron James and the Lakers will take the court again on Tuesday as the Utah Jazz come to town.
