After Pippen and Jordan completely deleted information about each other on social media on Sunday, multiple sources told People magazine that the couple had gone their separate ways.

Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan’s breakup may have been short-lived.
A source close to the former couple tells People that when they decided to go their separate ways over Super Bowl weekend, their breakup came out of left field.
“It happened on Friday or Saturday, but most likely on Saturday,” the source said. “They were just hanging out with friends last Thursday or Friday and no one saw any problems and they were happy. They might get back together.”
The insider added, “It was a relationship issue. But obviously it came out of the blue, so when things settle down maybe it will get better.”

Another source confirmed the news, telling People that Pippen, 49, and Jordan, 33, have mutually decided to “take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship.”
“This has nothing to do with any family input but just their personal growth,” the source noted.

On Monday morning, as split rumors swirled, Pippen shared a thinly veiled quote on her Instagram Story: “The man you choose to be your partner affects everything in your life. Your mental health, your inner Peace, the love in your heart, your happiness, how you survive tragedy, your successes, how your children will grow up, etc.”
The quote concludes: “Choose wisely.”
Pippen also fueled speculation about her and Jordan’s breakup on Sunday night when she shared an Instagram Story poll with fans: “Should your friends unfollow your ex?”
The poll also comes with a video of Morgan Freeman talking about trusting one’s “inner voice.” With the celebrities suddenly no longer having photos of each other on their respective accounts, fans can’t help but wonder if they’ve reached the end of the road as a couple.

Pippen and Jordan first met through mutual friends at a party in Los Angeles in 2019. By 2022, their relationship was flourishing and romance rumors began to circulate after they were spotted having lunch together in September of that year.
Still, Pippen was coy when talking to People magazine at BravoCon 2022 that October. “We’re friends,” she said. “We’ve been friends for a few years, that’s what it is. We’re friends.”
However, in January 2023, the two seemed to confirm their romance when they were seen kissing while walking in Miami Beach, Florida. Days later, multiple sources confirmed their romance to People magazine.

Nearly a year later, the former couple tells People magazine that they are not yet engaged but may soon be engaged at iHeartRadio’s Jingle Ball in December. “It’s a work in progress,” Jordan said, with Pippen adding, “I feel like we’re always working on the ring.”
“We’ve definitely been shopping. That’s for sure,” he confirmed.
