LeBron James and Anthony Davis receive injury updates ahead of Tuesday’s NBA Inseason Championship game between Jazz and Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers will host the Utah Jazz in the NBA Inseason Championship on Tuesday night. Los Angeles comes into the game on the back of wins in two straight games. However, the injury status of LeBron James and Anthony Davis was initially questioned as the Lakers seek a third straight win.
So far in the 2023-24 season, the Jazz have a record of only 4 wins and 9 losses. Utah’s struggles and Los Angeles’ home-court advantage bode well for the Lakers. However, Los Angeles won’t take the Jazz for granted.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis’ injury status vs. Jazz
Anthony Davis was initially listed as probable on the NBA’s official injury report with a left adductor/hip spasm injury. Meanwhile, LeBron James is doubtful with a left calf injury. Fortunately, both players have been cleared to play and are expected to start.

LeBron averaged 26.4 points per game, shooting 58.6% from the field and 39.7% from three-point range. James also averaged 6.5 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game.
Davis is averaging 22 points per game so far. He shot 53% from the field and 30% from three-point range. Davis leads the league in blocks with 3.3 per game and grabs 11.7 rebounds per game.
The Lakers have had their ups and downs at the start of the 2023-24 season. However, Los Angeles still plans to compete in the Western Conference. It’s important to find consistency as quickly as possible.
Three consecutive wins will go a long way in helping the Lakers move forward. As for the question of whether LeBron James and Anthony Davis will play tonight against the Los Angeles Lakers. For the Jazz, the answer is YES.
