FILM DESCRIPTION
This film is Pedro Almodóvar’s glorification of his then-muse Penélope Cruz. The 2006 film is a real vehicle for Penelope, beautiful and very, very good as Raimunda, a housewife with a teenage daughter and abusive roommate who tries to rape a girl and will be punished by Penelope/Raymonda with death.
But the crime will bring back the traumas of the past.
